SESSIONS OUT!!!SESSIONS OUT!!!
>A U.S. Treasury Department official was arrested Wednesday and charged with providing a reporter with sensitive reports related to suspicious banking transactions of several Trump associates.
>Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards, a senior official at Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), was arrested for leaking documents known as Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) that were cited in a series of news articles published by BuzzFeed News.
>She is charged with one count of unauthorized disclosures of suspicious activity reports and one count of conspiracy to make unauthorized disclosures of suspicious activity reports. The case is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan.
>According to a government complaint, Edwards leaked documents of banking records for former Trump associates Paul Manafort and Rick Gates. She also leaked financial reports of Maria Butina, a Russian national indicted on charges of acting as an undercover Russian agent.
>BuzzFeed also reported on financial transactions of the Russian billionaire family that helped arrange the infamous June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower.
>In that article, BuzzFeed reporters Anthony Cormier and Jason Leopold cited SARs filed against Rob Goldstone, an associate of the Agalarovs, the Russian family who sought the Trump Tower tryst. Goldstone, a music publicist by trade, contacted Donald Trump Jr. to arrange the meeting, which is now part of the special counsel’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.
>BuzzFeed reported that after Goldstone was identified last year as the middleman for the meeting, his banks flagged payments that he received from the Agalarovs.
>Reached for comment on Wednesday, Goldstone called the Treasury officials’ leaks “outrageous.”
>“I was someone whose personal and private regular banking details were leaked to BuzzFeed, in order to create a salacious story,” Goldstone told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
>“Not only is it outrageous that this information was apparently leaked out of the Treasury Department, but BuzzFeed showed a complete disregard for the privacy laws in making personal transaction details public.”
>“They are an example of the worst kind of sensational so-called investigative journalism,” he continued, saying that he is considering taking legal action.
>BuzzFeed also reported on FinCEN documents related to Peter Smith, a now-deceased Republican political operative who searched for Hillary Clinton’s deleted State Department emails during the 2016 presidential campaign.
>According to the government complaint, which was filed in federal court in Manhattan, Edwards first met one of the reporters who wrote the BuzzFeed articles in July 2017. She began sharing “thousands” of banking records in October 2017, usually through encrypted messaging platforms.
>She took photographs of some of the reports and sent them to the BuzzFeed reporter through encrypted messaging systems.
>Prosecutors say that when questioned by investigators on Wednesday, Edwards “confessed that she had provided SARs to Reporter-1 via an encrypted application, though falsely denied knowing that Reporter-1 intended to or did publish that information through the News Organization.”
>The government complaint also suggests that Edwards obtained some of the documents at the request of the BuzzFeed reporter, who is not identified in the complaint.

BEHOLD THE FACE OF THE RESISTANCE
As we reported earlier today Rod Rosenstein is one of the most conflicted and corrupt officials in US history.
According to multiple reports, Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein has given a verbal resignation to Chief of Staff John Kelly following an explosive NYT report he wanted to wear a wire and oust Trump from office.
Last week, Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC), who previously filed articles of impeachment against Rosenstein, called for the Deputy Attorney General to appear before Congress under oath this week.
But today Rosenstein notified Congress he will not turn over the subpoenaed memos and will not appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
>President Trump on Monday said he had a “good talk” with Rod Rosenstein, further dampening speculation that the president will fire his deputy attorney general.
>Trump invited Rosenstein to fly with him aboard Air Force One to a law enforcement convention in Florida and he later told the audience their conversation went well.
>”The press wants to know, ‘what did you talk about?’ But we had a very good talk, I will say it,” Trump said during a speech to the International Association of Chiefs of Police in Orlando.
>Rosenstein’s future has been an open questions for several weeks since The New York Times published an explosive report saying he discussed secretly taping Trump last year as well as using the 25th Amendment to oust him from office.
>The No. 2 Justice Department official has repeatedly denied the story, but also reportedly offered to resign.
>”That became a very big story, actually, folks. We had a good talk,” the president said.
>Before leaving the White House earlier Monday, Trump said he has no plans to fire Rosenstein.
>Trump said he would meet with Rosenstein following the article’s publication but that discussion was delayed while the White House focused on confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. The judge was confirmed by the Senate on Saturday.
>Rosenstein oversees the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, a probe Trump has repeatedly denounced as a “witch hunt.” The president has also attacked Rosenstein on multiple occasions.
>The filmmaker — who calls the 45th President an “evil genius” — looks at how and why Trump got elected in his latest documentary. “Yes, it was the Russians,” he says in the film, “and it was James Comey,” but the real reason was Stefani. The doc then breaks down how his decision to run was an ego-driven fake-out after Trump learned the singer got paid more money as a judge on The Voice than he earned hosting The Apprentice.
>“I don’t blame her,” he was quick to point out at TIFF. “I just happen to know the truth of how that whole thing came down. He was upset that a woman was making more money than him, who was on another NBC show. He thought he would play NBC by having a couple of rallies and showing just how popular he was across the country and it all backfired on him and then we got stuck with him. I don’t blame her for that.”

I don’t know anything about Gwen Stefani, all I know is I voted for Trump because of this inspirational video that made me realize what a great man he is and what a great president he would be and how good it would feel to throw a molotov cocktail into the political system:Just one take on why President Trump won the election.
